Whoo! Computer's in, I'm all set up and ready to go. < 3 I still need to swap files and install one or two more things so that I have more or less the same setup as I had, but other then that I'm good! I'm relatively surprised with how well it's doing, actually? Sooo.. I need to ask..

WHAT on earth is the deal with everyone hating on Vista...? If you got it when I came out, I can understand because of Windows tending to leave a million bugs in the system.. but atm there really isn't much for me to complain about..? My first and only issue was when I installed my tablets, so I found the drivers to fix it and whoo, it's working perfectly.

Thus far I haven't had any other issues..? .___o Is there some hidden reason why everyone dislikes Vista and thinks it's the devil or what? XD It really hasn't been any better or worse then my experiences with XP. Idk. I don't get it, lol. It even installed my Photoshop elements 2.0. .__o I remember when the OS was first released everyone complained that it wouldn't let them load their old photoshops. Ah well. DX

Overall I'm very happy with it! And, in general, Alienware - so far I haven't run into any issues with them, so hopefully that'll continue. Bought Crysis for it yesterday just to test the system, so I'll play that in a bit just to see what all the hullabaloo is about regarding that particular game.

Otherwise I've been sitting around and playing Spore. It's absolutely GORGEOUS now. < 3 You wouldn't believe the difference - in the first cell stage thing...? My old PC with it's crappy integrated graphics card put everything on solid colors.. so I was rather surprised when I popped it in and saw that everything was supposed to be clear and see through. XD; I honestly thought it was an issue with the game at first. So yep! Very happy, very happy indeed. I'll be installing Maya in a day or two when I have time - so hopefully that'll work without a hitch. < 3
